The boss's wife adores the pink haired girl as well, that women is terrifying, how this pink headed ditzgot on Marci's good side is beyond me. Keeping her safe with all of the rules laid out for her is going to be the death of me, thankfully I don't mind bending said rules. College is all about forming ourselves, how she's going to achieve that being on such a tight leash I don't know. Hence why I'm giving her some slack, she's so obnoxious sometimes I question why the Winter's even worry, she'd annoy anyone who tried to hurt her to death.

I hope this water bottle comes in pink, its huge and perfect for keeping on my nightstand. Thank god it does, fifty bucks is pretty expensive for a water bottle but money stopped being an object when my parents opened another Winter Home Furnishings. Uncle Cal would tell me to buy whatever I want, that life is for the living. He's right and it doesn't go over my head what he's hinting at between the lines of his statement. I just can't keep living being tiptoed around anymore, I needed this. To come here and work on a creative writing degree, to be free of my family and extended family. I need to figure out how to live without everyone questioning my every move. That's why the only way I agreed to having a body guard was if he was A) New and had no clue of mine and Marci's past B) Not told any specific details over what happened to me or my current issues and finally C) Had to be around my age so he could pretend to be a college student as well. That last one was super important to my ability to just fit in with my peers. None of my school friendships held out past graduation when they all left for college. So I really need to make some friends.
Isn't it funny how the most obnoxious things about people are generally the things we love most about them as well? Amanda is no longer a sixteen year old girl and now a twenty year old woman trying to build her life past her traumas. Holden is the son of the Boss's most esteemed guard, unfortunately he didn't inherit his fathers work ethic or skills making him a liability to the Winter empire's trained team. Luckily for Holden however Caledon, Theo and Cameron Winter are into controlling relationships so he won't be fired or worse.
If you haven't read book one start there. To Be Determined: Little Psycho is available on Kindle Unlimited and print form on Amazon. While this book can be read as a standalone having the background of the origin of Amanda's trauma ensures better understanding of her oddities.
A list of trigger warnings supersedes the story, please thoroughly read through them giving yourself the space to just say no and walk away. A book is a great escape not intended to traumatize its escapees.
